The Memory Project (“Проект памяти”) commissioned an animated documentary film Neither Living Nor Dead (“Ни живые ни мертвые»). It's based on interviews with residents of Chechnya, a region in Russia, who witnessed the ongoing violent abductions of their relatives since 2000s.The project describes the psychosocial consequences of an uncertain loss. The viewer hears direct quotes and the voices of victims who share their memories and thoughts.
I worked on this whole animation story as illustrator, animator and sound designer.
